Sensational reggae rock and punk rock artists Sublime with Rome and The Offspring are bringing their signature sounds to the Huntington Bank Pavilion!
Sublime with Rome is made up of Eric Wilson (former bass player of the band Sublime, singer and guitarist Rome Ramirez, and drummer Josh Freese. After Sublime’s lead singer (Bradley Nowell) passed away in 1996, surviving members Eric and Bud Gaugh (drums) formed rock band Long Beach Dub All-Stars. They played Sublime songs as well as new material until they split up in 2002. They re-united in 2009 as Sublime, and added Northern California native Rome Ramirez to the line-up. A year later there was a legal issue with Bradley’s estate (over using a trademarked name for a venture not including Nowell) and they had to change their name to Sublime with Rome. The group played at the 2009 Smokeout Festival, went on their first tour in 2010, and released their debut album (Yours Truly) in 2011. It hit #9 on the US Billboard 200 chart and #3 Billboard’s Top Rock Albums chart. Bud left the band in 2015 and was replaced by Josh, who is also a permanent member of bands Devo and Vandals. Sublime with Rome has also toured with renowned bands 311, Cypress Hill, and Pepper. Their latest tour is called Sublime with Rome Summer Tour.
